Child development is the most significant ingredient in a healthy camp experience. This is why our staff is the real secret to our success. Our experienced counselors, chosen from all around the globe, are known for their personal warmth and ability to care for each child as an individual. Each counselor is a role model for our children, promising lasting friendships and guidance. Their devotion to the children is truly reciprocated by the children's love of them.

Denver Jewish Day Camp staff are incredible individuals, who want to see each and every camper grow, and hope to help your children love their roots! The Directors are on a mission to bring to life the amazing aspects of Judaism through incredible events, experiences, and entertainment!

Their love for each camper ensures that your child will have a blast and will be reminding you of the fun they had at Denver Jewish Day Camp for the entire school year to come!

We hope that you will join us this summer, and we can't wait to meet you!

Our Division Heads possess a wealth of knowledge and experience. They mentor and guide our counselors, and actively communicate with camp families.

Every counselor is carefully selected for their personal warmth, sensitivity and ability to connect to each child.

Staff is intensively trained, including CPR and first aid.

We work together to ensure that each child’s individual needs, and the group’s needs are met.

We create an environment where campers build confidence, try new things, express themselves, have FUN and feel proud to be Jewish!

Directors:

My name is Rabbi Mendy Sirota and I live in Denver, CO with my wife Chana and five children. I have spent the past 15 years working in summer camps and have been the director of Denver Jewish Day Camp since 2017. My goal as a camp director is to help the counselors recognize each child’s unique interests and find ways to support their growth and discovery. I am looking forward to another wonderful summer at Denver Jewish day Camp.

My name is Chana Sirota and I’ve been teaching children and working at various Jewish summer camps for 15 years. I love being with children: observing, interacting and playing with them. I’m inspired by the way that young children are intrigued and filled with wonder by the everyday world. They have  the potential to change the world, and my hope is to help nurture within them the confidence, skills and compassion to do so. I am looking forward to another wonderful summer with the children of learning, discovery and growth.

Please reach out with any questions, comments or concerns.
