A summer at Denver Jewish Day Camp is a magical Jewish Day Camp experience. Campers experience a world of love, friendship, wonder, and discovery in a warm and nurturing environment where Judaism is integrated into all daily activities.
Each division has its own Division Head and dedicated counselors who are chosen to meet the needs of that age group.

THERE ARE 5 DIVISIONS @DENVER JEWISH DAY CAMP:
Campers are divided into age groups for individualized attention and supervision. This also allows us to gear each trip for the appropriate age group. An average group consists of 5 to 10 campers who work together as a team, learning the value of friendship and unity.
1) Mini camp are ages 2.5 through 4 years old.
Mini camp activities include sports, nature, art, splash pool, yoga, gymnastics, food art, challah baking, creative movement, water slides, sprinklers, music, special events, shows and more!
Mini camp is the perfect blend of a safe preschool environment and a touch of camp experience. In addition to the familiar center playtime, circle time, playground time and crafts, campers partake in two special camp workshops or theme activities each day.
2) Junior division is for campers entering Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 in the fall.
3) Senior Division is for campers entering 3-5th grade in the fall.
The bunks in junior & senior division participate in a variety of activities, sports, trips, art, Judaic studies, drama and much more. Some activities include both groups, others are geared for specific ages within the division.
4) Sabra Division: For children entering grades 6-7. This group has its own activities and trips, in addition to those offered to the rest of camp.
5) Adventure Camp is for campers entering 8th grade only. This group has its own activities and trips, in addition to those offered to the rest of camp including overnight sleep-away trips, sunset trips and late nights.
