A summer camp with spirit
Denver Jewish Day Camp is a Jewish summer day camp in Denver, Colorado for children in grades K–8 (ages 5–13) — run by the WCRJ Center for Jewish Life.
What a summer here looks like
Campers spend five weeks in a world of friendship, wonder, and discovery — sports clinics with professional coaches, swim days twice a week, field trips across Denver twice a week, arts, drama, and Shabbat celebrations that end every week on a high.
Joyful Judaism is woven into it all. Campers from every Jewish background share songs, stories, challah baking and Jewish pride together — no prior Jewish education needed, and a child's level of observance is never stressed.
“Every child is an entire world. We strive to harness their infinite potential through unconditional love, support, and personal attention.”

Where camp lives
Camp is located on the grounds of the WCRJ Synagogue & Community Center at 295 S Locust St, Denver, CO 80224 — right off Alameda & Monaco.

The staff: our real secret
Our counselors are hand-picked each summer from a large international pool of applicants — chosen for their personal warmth, professionalism, and genuine love of children. Every counselor completes extensive training, including First Aid and CPR.
Groups stay small: Small bunks, each with its own hand-picked counselors. Each division has counselors chosen for that age group, and the directors are hands-on with camp families every day.
The result is an environment where campers build confidence, try new things, express themselves, have fun, and feel proud to be Jewish.
